VDIS will interface with many existing GPS (Global Positioning System) / AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) systems. These existing systems monitor the location and status of your vehicles. VDIS draws this information from the existing systems and uses it to enhance the awareness of vehicle locations. VDIS will also notify of panic/man-down alarms if these features are supported in the AVL system.
The monitoring software will give the agents a visual indication of current work alone session, location of lone worker through the mobile app, alerts, SOS alarms, received messages, and more.

VDIS also integrates will a number of personal tracking devices and asset tracking systems. Some of these devices are satellite based and can be used to track the location of a person or asset when there is limited or no cellular coverage.
